And no one knows if TOOL will be coming to Australia, but it is a fair bet that when the new album is released they will tour here. There are creamy and Nutacious spreads for all. Just once. Re: Where's the Maynard? Here's what's up: After Zoo signed Tool, the band had to do a lot of bullshit (interviews, bios, etc.) all these people kept asking names even though they had them written down right in front of them. Now, bands seldom enjoy doing these things and after about the 15th person asking him, Maynard said, "My Nard's! It's James Keenan!" Well, this person thought Maynard was Austarailan (which is ironic given how many concerts they've given there) and thought he said maynard james keenan. This was the first person to write a good review of the band (and of course, obviously the first person to write about them at all. Who could give them a bad review?) Anyway he started off the story with the word Maynard, started the headline off with Maynard, and there was a picture with the word Maynard under it. After that, it stuck... partially for the humor, partially because they didn't want to confuse their potential fan base. sorry guys. couldn't resist. bye, todd ------------------------------ Topic No. 4 Date: Mon, 24 Jul 1995 00:55:17 -0700 From: deathro@primenet.com (deathro) To: tool-list@visix.com Subject: Live Tool CD's? I've heard that several times before and that it keeps ending up being pushed back. And there's also one other thing I'd like to clarify, I know Tool is from the west coast, but is there any indication whether they are from California or the VAncouver area? > >Fellow Tool, (ie Matt from Australia) > >The Sober boot is a different CD to the one that came with Undertow. >And no one knows if TOOL will be coming to Australia, but it is a fair bet >that when the new album is released they will tour here. > >There are creamy and Nutacious spreads for all. > >The Frizzle Fry >-Paul > > > ------------------------------ End of TOOL-LIST Digest 378 ***************************
