Is it as good as Angel Dust, meaning does he do a lot of hardcore-style singing(screaming) like on Jizzlobber, Caffeine, and Malpractice? Also, I saw Quicksand Monday night and they were amazing. They are a really good band IMO and I'm wondering if anybody else out there likes them or have seen them. They played with Sick Of It All (ahh, they were O.K.) and Orange9MM (They were just as good as Quicksand- anybody have any info on them?) Then yesterday I went to Lollapaloser (yes I meant to spell it that way) and was totally left in awe by the Bosstones. They have been one of my favorite bands for a while and I got to see them not once but twice yesterday. They opened at one on the main stage then played the second stage at seven thirty. I think it was because it was their homecoming in Boston. Pavement and Sonic Youth were amazing also as was the Jesus Lizard and a band I saw for the first time named the Geraldine Fibbers. Has anyone heard of them or heard them? I was really impressed. They had two guitarists (one also sang), a satand up bass player, a violinist (she was very attractive IMO) and a drummer, a kind of unique combo. They reminded me a little of the Dambuilders, another really good Boston band that has an attractive violinist and played the second stage. Well, sorry for the long, un-TOOL- related rant. Tool is still better than all bands mentioned above. Andy "I've been far too sympathetic" P.S. The MC of the second stage,Wave Foley (the singer of a band called Blue Dog Love) put on a rain jacket when it started to rain. It was from Lollapalooza '93 and it had a list of all the bands on the back and Tool was there, so this actually isn't a non-TOOL-related post. In my opinion, it is by far their best album. But if your looking for the type of stuff such as Jizzlobber, Malpractice, and Crack Hitler that was on Angel Dust, then its probably not for you. Mike Patton uses his singing voice along with his thought provoking lyrics to just reel you in. I sound like a fucking Rolling Stone album reviewer. Somebody Shoot me!!! For those of you who don't give a shit about FNM, I'm sorry for cluttering up your mailboxes. Anyway, it is a good album, and if you want you can check out a quote from Mike Patton in my signature below. Its from a song called "Just a Man." Well I can tell you that your girlfriends will love it after the four weeks are up. I've got my tounge pierced and oral sex is the "practical" reason for getting your tounge pierced. I have talked to others who have their tounges pierced and their girlfriends and they all say WOW!!! As far as eating, for those that have just had it done, eat mashed potatoes, soft-serve ice cream, and other mushy stuff. Also, I would like to know what was the original slogan on the back of the "no chiefs, all indians" because there is a picture of Jesus in the Tool logo on the front and it just does not fit the slogan on the back. ------------------------------ Topic No. 12 Date: Wed, 26 Jul 1995 19:33:11 EDT From: UXDX70B@prodigy.com (MR CHAD CHRISTENSEN-WOODS) To: tool-list@visix.com Message-ID: <013.09127472.UXDX70B@prodigy.com> To: petoskey@cps203.cps.cmich.edu Subject: Re: Tounge Piercing re: slogan on the back of the "no chiefs, all indians" because there is a picture of Jesus my interprentation is that there should be no leader for the masses to follow. no shepard to herd the sheep. we are all indians. and...DAMN YOU!
