I had only ever seen one other, (besides the ones in the mail order catalogs) and it was black with a tool (I believe a wrench) on it. I'm not into the black shirt thing, it gets kind of hot where I live (yeah, I know thats a sorry excuse but, I just don't like the heat). Anyway, I saw this really cool white shirt at the annual county fair. I hate the fair. It smells like horse shit, I hate seeing fat chicks in Wranglers, and it was a cool 98 degrees there yesterday. But I go every year for one reason, and one reason only - there is this cool place that sells music shirts there. So I picked up this shirt with Tool written in the top left hand corner of the front side of the shirt and on the back there is this cool design with the words "NOVUS OPIATE SECLORUM." Does anyone know what that means? I assume its latin. Or new world opiate or something like that. Ok having read plenty of posts about the wrench symbol (ie on shirts and stickers) I just want to comment about how great of a phallic symbol I think it is. My understanding of a phallus perfectly fits the tool: a representation of the penis and testes (schlong and nads) as a symbol of generative power!!!!! YES! I have a shirt and hat with the wrench. Not to disrespect any fellow tool's, but please don't wear any Tool paraphernalia (stuff) with any Green Day CRAP. I fucking hate green day and to see sum ass wearing both at the same time just chaps my hide. Some idiot thought he would be "cool" and wear the garb to Magic Mountain, my fellow Toolophiles that accompanied me put that putz in his place. And, what's up with those stickers, my truck is dying of anticipation of being stickerd.
