Tool is mostly dropped 'D' tuning. Here is how the strings are tuned:
E string - D
A string - A
D string - D
G string - A

When I first wanted to learn this song I had a hell of a time trying to figure 
out the tabs posted. They were so confusing and out of order. So once I got the 
song down I wanted to post a tab that is easy to read and not confusing so you 
don't have to sit down with the tab for an hour and figure it out before you 
play it, you can just start playing. This is a great song and fun to play once

Throughout the song, especialy in the chorus and outro, the guitar and bass 
might be playing the same thing and the guitar starts to play something 
different...Don't think the bass changes with the guitar because it doesn't! 
Play whatever it says in the tabs. This song is kinda tricky but don't give up
