I just got from Berlin and i can´t even think anymore 
because of not having had any sleep except for 3 hours for 
the last 2 days.
But i can remember the joy, to be in Scheesel. The 
mainstage at the HF was the hugest stage i ever saw Tool 
play on. And for me it was the first time to see the band by 
daylight. A totaly new experience, and a great one. They 
don´t necesserily need the visuals to impress me. And to 
speak for the rest of the audience, the homepage of the HF 
said that crowdsurfing wasn´t welcome, but it looked as if 
not many people did care about that, and as people were 
freakin out, Tool got the best resonance for their show they 
could get.

Eulogy !!!!!! (I was so happy they played it...)

I should not forget to mention Maynard looking up to the 
bunjee jumpin´ action, talking of a guy called Eddie, saying 
(it wasn´t word for word of course, it´s just what i can 
remember): "Is that Eddie up there? He´s goin´to jump off 
soon, for his death (???), isn´t he an idiot?" And the crowd 
went: "Eddie is an idiot...". I didn´t know then that i was 
going to meet this Eddie soon, and that he would turn out to 
be the one to make my day, more about that will be posted 
in my review of the Berlin show soon.
So just keep on reading the reviews of all the concerts.

Das war geil. Mehr fällt mir nicht dazu ein.
Aber erzählen wir ganz von Anfang an: Tool fing um 17.15 
nach Weezer (wie passend????naja die warn aber auch geil) 
bei strahlendem Sonnenschein an zu spielen. So fiel die 
Videoshow leider aus. 
Als das riesiege Drumset auf die Bühne kam wurde ich schon 
total unruhig so wie auch die anderen Leute in den 
vordersten Reihen. Ich dachte: Scheisse, jetzt kommen die 
wirklich gleich auf die Bühne!! Und dann kamen sie zuerst 
Justin, Adam und Danney (im sportlichen Basketballdress-
naja ist haltn Drumtier und muss man trotzdem lieben). 
Schließlich Maynard nur mit einer Jeans bekleidet. Jetzt 
flippten alle komplett aus. Dann ging es sofort los mit the 
Grudge und die Menge war nicht mehr zu halten. Wellen von 
crowdsurfenden Leuten folgten. Kein Wunder: Der Sound war 
mehr als anständig und dazu schön laut.
Ich geb mal kurz die Playlist durch (Irrtümer vorbehalten, da 
ich immer noch high von dem Auftritt bin):

EULOGY (ich konnte es gar nicht glauben, als Maynard sich 
so ein kleines Teil vor den Mund hielt (Kinder-Megaphon??) 
und die ersten Zeilen sang)

Herrlich! Überiridisch geil- jetzt kann ich, sterben ich habe 
sie gesehen. Abstriche muss man lediglich bei der 
Toolunwürdigen Spieldauer von nur einer Stunde machen. 
Auf die Videoshow kann man getrost scheissen, weil Tool so 
eine Effekthascherei nicht nötig hat.
Erwähnenswert wären noch Maynards Strip (nur bis zur 
schwarzen Boxershorts- Nick Oliveri von den Queens war am 
Vortag komplett nackt), sein zuckender und spirituell 
anmutender Tanz, sein starrer Blick in die Menge (war der 
totale Wahnsinn) und seine Kommentare zu einem in der 
Ferne springenden Bungee-Jumper.
Das wars. War echt übernatürlich und volles Mett die 
RocknRoll Breitseite. Bin total platt.
