this was a good show....it was better than the one last year i believe the band seemed at their best....im like the first guy and i wish they would change it up a little play some older stuff...... i believe this is about how it went sober, flood, the grudge, 46 and 2, stinkfist, patient, parabol/parabola, then they played the 2 long songs off lateralus...disposition and eon blue apacolypse, the ticks and leaches thing was in there too somewhere, which stole the show...that part was amazing finished it up with lateralus. tomahawk came out dressed as cops, but i thought they kinda sucked and they were talking shit about oklahoma. saying something about okie's like to suck cocks or something, im not really sure. lots of weed and lots of over heated people. but the security guards were pretty cool because they were giving everyone water and pushing the crowd sufers back into the crowd. the light show was pretty cool ....well pretty much the whole thing was cool. good job later

TONIGHT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. I have waited for a year and a half. I saw my second favorite band live. i was about 20 feet away from Maynard and Danny, and 12 from Adam and Justin. i feel so free and released now. Well, the opening band tomahawk sucked worse than any band ever, but Tool made it all better. The set list was something along the lines of Sober Flood Stinkfist 46 + 2 Schism Parabol/Parabola The Pstient Aenima Intermission Disposition Reflection Triad Lateralus It was the most amazing thing ive ever seen. A friend of mine had a seizure from being in the sun for too long. That was kind of funny. I will always remember this night for as long as i live, and i wish this feeling of freedom upon anybody and everybody. - Free At Last

Hey you! Read reviews already posted for your show to see if somebody already posted the setlist. I'm not going to post the setlist....I am going to say what an amazing performance I saw tonight. Danny's drums are awesome and everything sounded perfect...Just like the other tool shows I have attended. Mike Patton was awesome...I just don't think everyone knows how to take him. This is unfortunate because he makes great music. He's a musical genius.(in my opinion) Now back to Tool...I could never complain about anything they do so all I have to say is I feel very fortunate to have seen them tonight. I only wish I could live it every night.

Beau Burnett has the right idea. This show was one of the top 5 moments in my life. After waiting for 2 hours in the sun in 100+ degrees and 125% humidity and suffering through the screeching of Tomahawk and his saying Okie boys suck a good cock, The concert was well worth the price of admission. 25-30 feet away from the greatest band on earth, ¼ inch of beer in the floor, contact high, and Tool starts out with Sober. Even the drums from Ticks & Leaches were in there somewhere, along with Triad, Stinkfist, and a lot of other music. Great show guys!!!!! i'm going back next time they're within 100 miles of Tulsa, maybe farther...

That was the baddest thing I've ever seen. TOOL has the best presentation in the world. The sound was insanely loud, everything was huge, it was great. They played almost every song off of Lateralus, all except Ticks and Leeches. Danny's drums were glowing gold when they pulled the cover off, it was the most beautiful sight I've seen in a long time. They sound so good in person. There was actually seating there, but why would anyone sit down; I couldn't stop moving. In conclusion, that was the best thing to happen in Tulsa ever. PS: Tomahawk sucks

The real setlist for tulsa intro (Justin's Bass, and Adam on a Keyboard) sober (great opener) flood the grudge (-)ions (cool light effect) stinkfist 46&2 (amazing) schism (alternate parts) parabol/parabola eon blue apocalypse/ the patient aenima (great lights) intermission (cool sounds) dispostion reflection triad (the most amazing thing i have ever seen live, danny is god on the drums, very extended version, outstanding!) lateralus one big group hug Tool is amazing live. They put on a very good show, great songs and outstanding lighting. I was up againts the rail in the front row from the grudge to intermision. It was amazing seeing them so close. Maynard looked so cool being painted with black light neon paint. Then it was great to sit back and relax and enjoy the video screens for reflection, disposition, and the amazing version of triad (I was left speachless). I thought that the secruity men did a good job up front, they work hard to keep us safe, and for that i thank you. Thanks to Tool for coming to tulsa. You guys are one of the few bands right now, that i think has it together. You are all great muscians. I hope to see you guys soon. Thanks for an Amazing show! s chang

Every single setlist is different. Don't post a setlist unless you know the names of the songs and command a semi- competent memory. I expect more from alleged Tool fans. Oh and those ripping on Tomahawk whith such evident eloquence and wit as seen in the word, "sucks", may feel free to justify their opinions or shut the fuck up. Might I remind you that Mike Patton deserves much respect. Those who are quick to judge are the most ignorant, self-absorbed, narcissistic, arogant, expendable, insignifant cancers in our society. Okay, c'est tout. Merci d'avoir lu. Spiral out... keep going.

TULSA... TULSA... ARE YOU SURE... WHAT A SHOW, MAN, I PERSONALLY THOUGHT TOMAHAWK WAS AWESOME, I MEAN MIKE PATTON IS A MUSICAL GENIUS. TOOL PLAYED A PERFECT SET, AND MAYNARD'S PURPLE BODY PAINT WAS GREAT... ORANGE DESIGNES UP HIS LEGS, AND WAS THAT AN EYE PAINTED ON HIS FOREARM? "I HOPE YOU ARE ALL OUT OF YOUR MIND ON SOME KIND OF CHEMICAL, LEGAL OR OTHERWISE" I KNOW I SURE WAS... THE PLACE WAS PACKED, I COULDN'T EVEN MOVE AROUND ON THE FLOOR, AND I DIDN'T SEE ONE OPEN SEAT. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A NIGHT WELL SPENT. I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYED IT AS MUCH AS I DID...

This show was phenomenal. The setlist has been posted, but only about three of you got it right. Those that were there now which ones it is. I thought that Tomahawk was pretty bad. I wanted to like them, but then the earge to punch myself in the ears came about I decided that I didn't like them. Tool was simply incredible. Maynard didn't do as much talking as he apparently has at other shows (based off of other show's reviews). Still Tool didn't dissapoint. THe last seven songs were incredible. From Parabol all the way to Lateralus. Triad was simply the most amazing song that I have ever heard. The drums and sound that Danny Carey and the drummer from Tomahawk (who played the small 4 piece set) was simply godly. I was about 20 feet from the stage right in front of Justin for most of the show, and when that was played, it was incredible. Danny's set looked really cool being gold and with the back lighting. Maynard was painted all blue with what I thought was the flame pattern on his face from the Lateralus album and white vein patterns (?) on his left arm and leg. All in all, a great show, with the exception of the neanderthals who only showed up to mosh. Poeple just don't get it sometimes.

Great show..Danny was amazing. Mike Patten is very talented but I didn't care for Tomahawk. I did however have enough class not to boo them. Schism didn't sound very tight but every other song was flawless. As I was leaving the show someone summed it up perfectly..."You have to see Tool live at least once in your life." Don't believe every review that you read. Some people just don't get it.

one word sums up this show, beautiful why are so many people here posting fake reveiws, what is the point of that, they aren't even funny. the setlist has been covered already, the last few to post it have it right. if you were there you have already heard it, and if you weren't there, why would you want to know? and stop ripping on tomahawk, you cocksucking tulsians. it was a joke and i thought it was hilarious. Tulsa, OK is the second largest gay capitol, second to san fransisco, now that is a statistical fact, and its no problem. tomahawk was just poking fun at that, combining it with the stereotype of coboys and rednecks in oklahoma, come on there's a guge statue of a guy drilling oil outside the expo! anyway it was a funny joke, and i was disappointed to see so many 'so called tool fans' trash this band, and not get the joke. afterall it isn't like tool never fuck with their fans, and its the same sense of humor. i swear i was ready to punch the people that said tomahawk sucked and told them to get off the stage without even giving them a chance, i like them they kind of reminded me of the melvins mixed with older NIN. they had a little trouble with their sound, probably a problem inherent to the difficult of mixing highly processed vocals, and the fact that it was harder to hear the vocals right up front because vocals progect. ok, well anyway, tool was beautiful, and tomahawk was awesome, so stop ripping on them you homophobes!!

well i suppose i'll start off with Tomahawk. They rocked so fucking hard. Mike is THE Mad Musical Genius. yes, he did say something about okie boys sucking a good cock. He wanted a reaction. If everyone wasn't such a lame ass and just stood around gaping at him. he probably wouldn't have felt the need to insult you. he did apologize, and say it was just a joke. NOW. onto TOOL. there are no words to describe the experience. you could actually feel the music inside your body. i thought that maynard was quite vocal contrary to opinion. The set was beautiful. Danny's drums were FUCKING AMAZING. and triad...like i said no words can describe. and at the end. the group hug. they stayed out on stage quite awhile. applauding and just being the kick ass guys they are. i agree with Mysti...I wish i could live this every day!

Amazing intro (Justin's Bass, and Adam on a Keyboard) sober (great opener) flood the grudge (-)ions (cool light effect) stinkfist 46&2 schism (alternate parts) parabol/parabola eon blue apocalypse/ the patient aenima intermission dispostion reflection triad ^^^correct setlist And I agree with whoever said the thing about mikes joke, get a sense of humor people. Tomahawk was original, But the major tur off fo me was the squealing from mike patton combined with his synth. And the drummer needs to experiment a little more, though he was very good while playing triad. What can I say, TOOL was amazing. I'm so glad they came around here too, it's about time tulsa got a real concert. Maynard's movements were just great, I dont really know why either, he's a good performer. I was amazed to actually see Danny play, it was truley breathe-taking. Stinkfist was just spectacular, the lighting, the crowd, the performance, it was perfect. And like everyone else, my jaw dropped when I saw triad. Very good show and I thank you tool for coming to tulsa. PS- To some of the people above, please, stop spreading your ignorance. Your giving tool fans a bad name.

I guess the best way to review this show is to start from the beginning. Tomahawk debuted as the worst live band I've ever seen and I thought they would be awesome because a local radio station quoted Maynard as describing the band as "the best band I've ever heard." I guess Maynard hasn't listened to his own albums. As I was writing, Tomahawk let out some of the most annoying loud sounds to grace the Tulsa Expo and really pissed off alot of people by causing their ears to bleed. Then, not only do they suck, but they say they heard Okies suck a mean dick. If you have talent, maybe you can badmouth the crowd, however, they had no right. Yet, the concert was awesome because tool blew the audience away with the usual awesome performance.

I only have a few short words to post. 1st, TOOL is the greatest and I want to thank the m for coming to Tulsa let alone Oklahoma, 2nd, Tomahawk was pretty impressive( If you dissagree, then eat a dick). 3rd, Thanks to Tulsa for giving TOOL the respect they deserve. OKC got the show last year and the crowd wasn't as involved or pumped up to see TOOL as T-Town was. I definitely think we left a good impriont on the mind of the band. With any luck, they'll come back to Tulsa next time and skip LAME ASS OKLAHOMA CITY again.

I came all the way from hades to watch this.....and aside from getting a mad blowjob from a beutiful creature named fred durst, the show was exeptional. Tool kicked so much ass. Tomahawk was ok not the greatest band in the world but that is Tools title. mike patton was better here than he ever was in Faith no More, they sucked. i did however dig some of their stuff. Tool was beutiful.46+2 was awsome.....stinkfist was great live. I dropped some acid and started to spiral out. I wish they had that shit when i was trying to conquer china....damn yeah tool kicked ass....but whats new. i just wish that more older material would have been played. more agression and anger. sure i love the new album.....but they need to play jerk off or something.....killing people is my buisness........i was once a great warrior.....now i am buddas bitch. see you in hell

first off, here's the setlist (as best as I can remember): Sober Flood Grudge Stinkfist 46 & 2 Schism Parabol/Parabola The Patient Opiate Disposition Reflection Triad Lateralus -I've noticed a lot of false setlists floating around for this show... there was no pushit, but that didn't matter, because the show was simply mind-blowing... maynard, crouched in the back of the stage and glowing with black-light paint, was incredible... he didn't even seem human... danny carey has to be on of the best modern rock drummers around... and jones and chancellor were great... the meshing of music, visuals, and sheer creativity made for one hell of an artistic show

As everyone said, incredible show, as far as Tomahawk is concerned, do they really suck if they are trying to suck? Hmmm. Mike Patton was trying to get a rise out of everyone and for the most part, he did. I just sat there with a goofy grin through their set knowing that they really are talented guys but I don't buy the whole " artistic " bullshit. Now to TOOL-------I guess I am in the small percentage , but I thought the Grudge was a better opener but the teenyboppers seemed to like Sober. The visuals were incredible and Maynard was alot more visable than the fall shows. Highlights were ---- Flood Aenima The Grudge Lateralus Parabola Triad Stinkfist Shit, the whole shows a highlight, get off your asses and experience...................

Hey you! Read reviews already posted for your show to see if somebody already posted the setlist. I have to say that this was the best concert I have ever been to. The entire time Tool was onstage you could here a din of voices singing along with Maynard. I couldn't tell you the set list in order. If anyone reading this has never seen Tool before I recommend doing anything you can to see them. It will expand you expectations for what music and concerts are supposed to be, and you are not likely to experiance this anywhere else. Tamahawk was so horrible, however. I have never heard a worse band in my life. I can't believe Tool would actually allow them to open their show except to make the fans appreciate their talent even more. Actually the BAND was really good, it was the vocalist that sucked. well, that's my opinion

People shouldnt be some narrow minded, but anyways...Tool was amazing, the setlist has been posted a few times, so i wont bother...Everyone needs to see tool at least once, even if they arent a fan... Well they never cease to blow my mind and i enjoyed them here as well as in OKC, i cant compare the shows though because they were different and special in their own ways...I was kind of disappointed in the setlist, i would have fainted if i could have heard 3rd eye, eulogy, h, or bottom, jimmy, or any of their older stuff really, but i was more than satisfied with them playing flood and some more aenima songs, so thanks for that! I think tool has it together, and maynards humor was in good taste. Tool is above all the music that is around today, they are so much more deep and thorough. Oh yeah, one more thing, Alex Grey's artwork + tool's music = FUCKING AMAZING!!! GO SEE THEM IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY! ps.. OK, first off I'm from OKC and I came to Tulsa for this show. I have since decided that tulsa is the shittiest town in existence. It's completely filled with ugly people... Anyways, that's beside the point. This was the best show I have ever been to. The last time I saw them in OKC they pretty much only played songs off of Lateralus which I'm not going to complain about, but this time they played some more stuff off of Aenima, a little undertow, and one song from Opiate. I'm still waiting for Third Eye however... after I hear that live I will be complete. I got to hear a little of their soundcheck earlier in the day which was awesome. The whole thing was amazing and LOUD... I couldn't hear much of anything for a few hours after the concert, but that's a small price to pay for such an incredible experience. What can I say, I was blown away.. if your not a huge TOOL fan, go see them live and you will be.

This was my first Tool concert as well as my first concert in general. It was the most amzing thing I have ever seen. I didn't really like the opening band Tomahawk, but it was worth waiting through to see Tool. The backgrounds for the stage were beautiful. And the light setup was awesome as well. They put on a great show. Maynard sang his heart out and it was so powerful. I loved every second of it. I don't remember all the songs they played or anything like that. It was just an amazing experience to witness Tool performing live right in front of you. And when Daney Carry and the other guy were playing together was so fucking cool. I just want to thank my sister for giving me the best birthday gift imaginable.

Well, the 25th was one of the best nights of my life, that's for sure. First off, Tomahawk is amazing. I urge all of you that didn't like them to give them another chance. The members are all very talented and that goes especially for the singer, Mike Patton. I understand how he can seem pretty abrasive at first listen. Especially at a show, when you can barely understand the lyrics. Believe me, if you have never heard a Tool song before, I doubt any of you could understand Maynard at a concert. Anyways, anough of that rant. Their new setup is amazing. If you don't want to know why, then stop reading. Otherwise, here it is. One cool part was Disposition when they were letting down the see-through banners showing multiple stages of the human form (like Lateralus album art only full frontal body) and illuminating them with purple spotlights. While at the same time, having about 20 flatspread lights going in various directions. The metallic confetti during The Patient was an extremely nice touch. All the songs were played to near perfection yet executed in a way that they don't sound like programmed performers. They put feeling into all the shows, I think, not just repeating the same thing every time. I don't know what else to say other than anyone who appreciates creativity in art and music should go to at least one show. Thanks for reading....

I was on too much mescaline to tell you the exact setlist, but I noticed nobody mentioned Hooker W/a Penis. Anyway, I about cummed in my pant's when I saw Danny's CUSTOM CRAFT PAISTE KIT in all of it's glory. And what's up with that crazy fucking psycho music that played before Tool came out? I felt like the holocaust was coming, but instead the pressure of about 6000 people crammed into an area made for 3000 came, and by the end of Flood, I had to bail out to about 1/3 of the way back as I was about to pass the fuck out. The expressive power of Tool was enough to make me quiver with emotion and joy. IF YOU WEREN'T SEEING ANY HALLUCINATIONS, TOOL SUPPLIED THE VISUALS FOR YOU. I can only ignore all of the dumb fucks that weren't on the same level as Tool to the point where they were critisizing them. Stinkfist, oh yeah, I would pay a very large sum of money to have a copy of the that version of Stinkfist, BAD ASS!!! Maynard, however, was covered in like a blacklight colored paint with the nerve-ending design on his chest like the thier shirt but with an orange eye in the center instead. The banners that dropped down during disposition (I think), were each layer of the Lateralus cover. One thing funny, was when Maynard was saying his usual "let's try to make something positive" speech,(which is fucking awsome) he paused for a moment after and the said "Oh yeah, and have sex". But anyway, I look at going to a Tool show not only as going to see a concert, but as a religion in a way, because of the message and the feelings they convey through their musical expression, and thier just fucking awesome. I mean, you don't see Maynard headbanging and moving all around because, he's preserving his breath for the proper breath marks and to give the crowd the best experience possible. I dont worship them, but I stand for what they stand for, and that is for you to figure out, until then "POINT THAT FUCKIN' FINGER UP YOUR ASS!" MOTHER FUCKER AND "SPIRAL OUT"

This was this reviewer's 1st? Tool show

Hey you! Read reviews already posted for your show to see if somebody already posted the setlist. First of all it was the Best Show Ever. Tool Is Amazing. Maynard was the highlight of the night. All Hell Broke Loose when they started playing sober, Then when maynard did a flip on stage, everyone was shocked. That was the highlight.

This was this reviewer's 1st? Tool show

I agree with everyone and don't have much to add but they did NOT play "Hooker with a Penis" or "Pushit" and the "Ticks and Leeches" drum thing everyone is talking about didn't happen...it was a merely a similar beat Danny played during a jam.

This was this reviewer's 2nd? Tool show

First of all I saw the show in El, Paso not in Tulsa. I had to post what I thought of the show but I was a little too late to put it in the El Paso postings. Anyways, TOOL FUCKIN ROCKED!!!! I was right in the front of the crowd. They are my favorite band in the world I have been blessed to see them twice. I loved the artwork and the sound quality at the concert. Lateralus and Reflection were my favorite songs. It was awesome to see Maynard playing the guitar as well. I live in Albuquerque so I had to drive about 4 hours to get there. I took my sister who are 14 and 16 years old. They hung in the front with me for the whole show. The crowd loved the show and the energy was just unbelievable. I met so many cool people there and can hardly wait for Tool to come to Albuquerque. PLEASE COME TO ALBUQUERQUE!!! The show was amazing Maynard, Danny, Justin and Adam. You guys are so fucking talented!!!
