The show was awesome. I just got home and all I have to say is that Tomahawk fucking rules, and Mike Patton has got one of the best senses of humor out there. It was the last concert for the New Haven Coliseum and definitely a memorable one. So I want you to go home, snuggle up by the fire and watch Caligula. Kevin Rutmanis kicks ass.

Theres no way i could remember the set list but someone else is bound to post it. Anyways the show was great, they opened with Sober which was very well done and i was happy to see it since last year they didnt play it :P. I noticed that in the early stages of the tour they didnt play Parabol but New Haven was lucky enough to hear Parabol and Parabola. The only bad part was Tomohawk which i thought seriously sucked ass, it was just like fantomas last year except different musicians. Their music is good but Mike Patton sounds like an angry monkey most of the time. Alot of the fans expressed their feelings about Tomohawk ;). Other than that the show was spectacular, the art by Alex Gray in the backround was beautiful.

I'll let someone else post the setlist but what a fucking great show. I missed most of the visual from my angle but I sat right on top of Danny. What a solo lead into Triad, unfucking believable. John and Troy joined Danny and they blew the roof off. Opiate and the extended version of Stinkfist were also highlights for me. Can't wait for show #5. Thanks Danny, Maynard, Justin and Adam for another great show. Spiral Out

Hey, the show was great, tool was excellent of course, and tomahawk wasn't bad. A great show to have as the final played at the New Haven Coluseum. The Setlist (may not be in order) Sober The Grudge Stinkfist (extra) (-)Ions H. Schism Parabol/Parabola The Patient Opiate Intermission Disposition Reflection Triad Lateralus that should be it, sorry if i missed some. the show itself was amazing. the lighting was great, the artwork was really awesome. the sound quality was perfect. everything sounded great, and the setlist was really good. if you can, then go see them.

Absolutely awesome show. Tomahawk was better than I thought they'd be. Tool Freakin' kicked ass as usual. I have the setlist but I'm not sure if I got everything. Sober Grudge Stinkfist (extended) (-)ions H. Sort of jammed for 5 minutes Schism Parabol Parabola Opiate Eon Blue Apocolypse The Patient INTERMISSION Disposition Reflection Amazing Danny Carey Solo Solo Triad Lateralis They had these really cool things light up during (-)ions that looked like bolts of electricity. Shiny Confetti stuff during a song, I'm not sure which one. They solo-ed through most of Triad. Maynard's stage started spinning at "ride the spiral to its end" in Lateralis. Adam and Justin whipped water bottles into the crowd at the end and Danney through his sticks. Banners rolled down from the rafters and were used as projection screens at the end. The stuff on the screens was mostly new. Some of it was used in 2001. Thank You Tool for playing a completely flawless show, and having really cool tour shirts.

Great show again! Tomahawk wasn't as bad as Fantomas last year. Mike Patton had a good sense of humor towards the crowd. He even introduced a new memeber of Tool, Goldilocks. who played guitar during one of the songs. We saw Tool last year and it was amazing. This show was no different. It started strong and continued throughout. The highlights of the show for me were Opiate, Triad, and The Grudge. Tool is definitely the best live show I have been to. Thanks to the band for the wonderful evening.

The order may not be exact, but the setlist went something like this: Sober Grudge Stinkfist (extended version) - ions H Parabol Parabola Schism Eon Blue Apocalypse The Patient Opiate Intermission Disposition Reflection (extended) Triad Lateralus Great performance by TOOL as always. Maynard seemed to be a little on the shy side tonight. It seemed as though he wasn't feeling the crowd as much. He had his back turned to the audience for nearly the entire concert and he chose not to strip down to the black speedo tonight. The New Haven Coliseum is the biggest shit hole. Thank God they are tearing that place down soon. They are clueless when it comes to hosting a big event. Overall, TOOL sounded great. Its amazing how good they sound live. Thank you Maynard, Danny, Adam, and Justin for yet another incredible experience. Good luck with the rest of the tour.

what a great show. good setlist, except it wouldve been nice to hear another song off of undertow, but thats not really a complaint. I sat on the floor(wearing my cro-mags age of quarrel shirt) by the mixing board, and had a really great view of the stage. i could see everyone in the band well. I missed tomahawk, and it sucked cause it took a while to get in. there was just a mass of people going into the door for the floors seats, and it wasnt really moving. it was like a stagnant pond slowly flowing into a small stream. hopefully theyll tour by themselves sometime and ill get to see them. overall i had a real good time, and hope it isnt too long before they tour again. by the way the gold confetti came down during the patient.

Well, I am not going to put in my dream setlist, but I feel that there were a lot of crucial Tool songs that I love, and others around me would have liked to hear that they didn't play. Instead, they played only about 3 songs that weren't off of Lateralus, which I do enjoy, but not for 3 hours when I can hear the songs in my room all on the same CD. Another annoyance was the time they took between songs to make droning noise. One such instance had to be at least 3 or 4 minutes long, on the inside. The abundance of "mellow" songs left the crowd very un- energetic when they tried to build up energy again, with other songs. I love Tool, but the show was dissapointing because I didn't hear half of the songs I expected to hear. If you ask people what their favorite Tool songs are, they would tell you at least 7 songs that weren't played tonight. On a positive note, the set looked really cool, and the lighting was well done. The songs they did play they performed tight and nicely.

I'm pretty sure the setlist was... Sober The Grudge - ions Stinkfist (extended version, but without the 'Suspicious Minds' lyrics) H Parabol Parabola Schism Eon Blue Apocalypse The Patient (with the red confetti) Opiate (Intermission) Disposition Reflection (extended) Triad Lateralus After the Boston show on Friday, I was really psyched to be down on the floor instead of section 306, but I have to say that overall the Boston show was better. We got 46 & 2 in place of H and Aenema instead of Opiate, but there's nothing wrong with that. The downer tonight was the crowd, who just wasn't as receptive to Tool as Boston was. Just a much more negative vibe this time around, with all the fratboys moshing and crowd surfing just for the fuck of it. I won't sit here and tell everyone what they can and can't do, but seriously there's a time and a place. Maynard seemed a little pissed as he definitely wasn't as open as he was on Friday. I think he addressed the crowd all of twice tonight. In any event, the show was still great. Tool is hands down one of the best live bands out there. Every song they play sounds better live and they really do keep progressing with every tour. Last year it was "Pre-Seminal 2001" and now it's "Inside the Outside 2002". It's the small things that make the difference, like the new intro to Schism, or watching everyone rock out on Triad. I would seriously advise any Tool fan that's never seen them live to go check them out at the first opportunity because you really have to see them playing to "feel" their music. All in all, it was a great way to say goodbye to the New Haven Coliseum. Thanks to Tool and everyone that really does appreciate them for what they are.

Overall a great show, but the sound setup was way too loud and cloudy. I was sittiing on the side near the corner of the stage and was just obliterated by a wall of fuzzy sound. The sound was so bad that you lost all the little creepy sounds that make Tool so incredible. I think that Tool strayed away from their strong suit and played an arena rock show as loud and lopsided(bass and drums) as possible. Danny Carey stole the show. he was absolutley amazing.

First with the negatives... 1. New Haven Coliseum is a pit and I want to be the one who pushes the button. 2. The crowd was dead, hell 1/2 my section was sitting on their hands by the end of H. 3. For all of you 15 year old pubescent pukes who insisted on jumping like orangutans in the aisles and steps between sections 16 and 17... Grow the hell up, or go to the floor. 4. Finally, was it just me or was Maynard a little off his game last night? I had heard he might have blown his voice out a little bit, but he seemed fine in Manchester. Now... As usual they visuals and misicianship was amazing, and Triad killed as always. Adam seemed a little more into it than normal tonight, which was a very pleasant suprise. And H. was a killer. I love that song and had never heard it live. All in all a good show, but I think the venue and fans may have hurt my vibe a little bit. Thanks for listening...

What a spectacular show! From what friends of mine tell me who saw 5 shows this season, the setlist was pretty standard. However getting to hear songs like H and Sober along with Triad (wow . . . just fuckin wow), made the show entirely different than the tour last year. Did anyone else notice that Maynard gave the middle finger to the whole state of Connecticut after the set was done? Shit I sure as hell did. You would think that if they knew this was the last concert ever at the New Haven Coliseum that something special would have been done. Well, guess not. Guess we're just another city. Didnt seem like the band even wanted to be there. I understand everyone has bad days, no one is an exception. But just because you didnt think they crowd gave enough love doesnt mean that we all deserve to be flipped the bird. Almost made me want to go Toe to Toe with Maynard right there. Sure I don't know the reasons behind his actions, but it seemed kinda childish, unless he is doing it to everyone. Fuck it. I noticed that a couple people posting setlists missed Eon Blue Apocalypse right before The Patient. Peace

Tool was amazing... They truly are one of the best, if not the best modern rock bands out there. The setlist is as follows... Sober The Grudge (.) ions Stinkfist h. Schism Parabol Parabola Eon Blue Apocalypse The Patient Opiate ____________________________ Reflection Disposition Triad Lateralus 14 or 15 amazing songs (counting (.) ions or not) The show started off with Sober, which was amazing, the sound for the first song wasnt as good as I exected though, it got better by "The Grudge." The highlights of the show for me were probably The Grudge, h., Schism, Disposition, and Triad. All the songs were so amazingly well done its hard to pick just one highlight song. Tomahawk wasn't what I expeted, I had never heard them before. I thought they were wicked creative and talented though. So anyone who was dissing Tomhawk just cuz you couldn't sing along like some sell out popular band obviously you don't know much about real talent, genius, and expeimental bands. Tool had them open up for them because they're a good band, not cuz they "suck ass" or whatever some people said. Anyway, thankyou Tool for another amazing show, I can't wait until I see you again.

before I bombard you with all the celebrating adjectives of last nights show i have o few negative points. 1. I looked at my ticket stub and thanked God that phantomas wasn't playing...and when i heard the same lead singer from phantomas.....i wanted to shoot myself. 2. half of the crowd were idiots and justwanted to freaking mosh. they have no idea how to just feel the music and become apart of the show....so they can all shove it too. ok on to the positives: when i heard the bass line for sober i almost got a chubby. and the rest of the show was a just like an amazing array of visuals and sound. both myself and my two friends walked out of the concert like we just had a massage for two hours after we left we were so relaxed it was like an experience you can only get at a live tool show. yeah their albums are amazing but after last night i truly believe that no other band can EVER touch tool.

The setlists above are accurate, so I won’t waste time re- typing them. The crowd sucked for the most part. Most of the floor just wanted to act like a bunch of toughguys, really dampened the mood. I’m glad they didn’t play Aenema or 46&2, just to piss them off. I was however very excited to hear H, and Opiate, which most people had no clue as to which song it was. It was obvious the band wasn’t into the crowd at all. Maynard only spoke twice; we didn’t get the “remind us why we are here speech” or the “new haven, eh”, and he didn’t tell us to go home and have sex. He sang and played with his back to the crowd for most of the night, and didn’t get too crazy with his dancing; he kept the leather on all night too. And yes, he flipped off a section of the floor when the lights came on. Despite all that negative energy, the show was still amazing as usual. The visuals, the lighting, the sound, everything was great. I love the new visuals, and the Alex Grey artwork. The highlights for me were H, and the “trilogy”-Disposition, Reflection, Triad. They could’ve jammed on Triad for the whole show, and that would’ve been perfect for me. It is absolutely amazing to experience live. All in all, it was a great experience, left me emotionally drained. I just pray that TOOL do not hold a grudge against all of fans in Connecticut, there are some of us who were there for the experience, and took it all in, and are not concerned about seeing tits or crowd-surfing. Note to anyone who has not seen TOOL and they are coming to your area: Buy a ticket, and go. It will be worth it, I guarantee. Note to the “schoolgirls” who were about 5 feet away from me all night-get some self respect. Note to the asshole who spent 3 hours standing right in front of me waving for his friend to jump the gate like he did— next time buy floor seats, so you don’t fuck with my experience, or stay in your own seats. Note to the meatheads—if TOOL doesn’t come to Connecticut again, you have only yourselves to blame. Note to Adam, Danny, Justin and Maynard James: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for 2 more amazing and memorable experiences. Keep doing what you are doing, and I’ll see you again along the way. And next time you’re in Connecticut, play at the Oakdale—its perfect for your artistic vision.

this was my first tool show and i have to say they definitly put on an incredible show. the bad part of the evening was getting inside. it was a longer line to get inside and get checked than ozzfest, it was rediculous. i missed most of tomahawk due to it, but for what i saw, they kicked ass. they were selling their infamous "put on a mask and do a dance for daddy" shirt. i really dig them, i listened to their cd the night before the concert. then came tool. i was absolutely stunned by 99% of their show. everything was incredible - the art, videos, backdrops, the lighting (especially during (-) ions) and danny carrey just flat out impressed me. i know what maynard james keenan does by not facing the audience and really not moving much is his style and all and i do find it extremely interesting and i respect it a lot - unfortunately it came off self-indulgent. im sure that was not the intent of tool or maynard, but, it really did seem that way. i love tool with all my heart but i came to the show to see maynard, and i really didnt get to - although danny's drum solo's and fills blew me away. i found it a little weird how little they moved around and how they didnt connect with the audience but the art did, because it was my first tool show. however, it didnt leave me feeling disatisfied in the least - no matter what i love their work, it was gorgeous, and they are truly fabulous musicians. all i have to see now is a perfect circle and i can die a happy man. it was definitly a memorable last concert for the coliseum and im glad that i was a part of it. definitly one of the best concerts ive ever been to.

Well i woke up this morning after the show feeling great. The setlist had some surprises but i welcomed them. I was hoping for 46n2 but i guess it is something i can wait for the next show. The crowd did seem angry at most times. I was on the floor, stage center about 3 rows back and before the show started there was already a fight cause some 6'7" huge dude was pushing his way through, This one dude jumped him and did like an eyeball crush move on him and took him to the floor. This got the big guy out of there and everyone cheered cause he dont like them pushers. The crowd just kinda stood there for tomahawk, sometimes yelling at patton. Overall they were cool and gave it there all, i just wish i could hear myself think when they play. When tool came out the crowd came alive. seemed like everyone rushed the stage, trying to get closer. THis really pissed me off cause i was there to enjoy the music and watch 4 gods at work. Again Tool was awesom. The crowd sucked. On lateralus they band got around the drum set and played really close until the end. Maynard did not give the finger, he put up his hand with the back facing the crowd with his index finder down, then it seemed like he blessed us. Justin and Adam waved to the crowd and threw bottles of water and their picks. Danny threw this sticks while smiling. It was great and cant wait for my next show.

Well, at least one of the setlist's is correct. Anywho, i couldn't have asked for a better set - Sober, H., Opiate - It was like a dream. The venue and the crowd really sucked ass. Everyone decided it would be fun to try and be violent. A lot of fights everywhere including a bunch right next to me involving the same guy. Hell, i almost got into a fight trying to push someone who had kicked me in the eye away. But, other than the violence the show was excellent. The artwork was better than i expected and the air blown spheroids were just plain awesome. The glitter was a great effect and lighting was very good as usual. I could understand Maynard turning away from the crowd, though it may not be for the same reason, I think he hated them as much as me. By the way, how's the tattoo's Scott?

Where to being? It was an evening full of odd vibes, most of which didn't sit too well with me. New Haven is a cesspool, and I think that the Coliseum alone hurt the show. It's an evil building, most likely built by architects practicing dark arts. However, I can't state that for sure since I don't practice occult rituals. The crowd was mixed, a cross between TOOL fans and the Yale kids who were there merely to see 'the last show at the Coliseum'. So, while I was trying to find my part in the experience, I had to expend energy fending off people jumping around me or spilling beer on my wife's leg, things like that. I didn't see Tomahawk, so I can't say anything about them. I miss Faith No More. Well, all other points aside, on to the actual performance by our beloved band. Their choice of Sober for an opener totally took me by surprise. It was a pleasant change though, since they didn't play it last year when I saw them. Hearing H. and Opiate was also very refreshing, two songs I didn't expect to ever see live. There was no Pushit again, which left me feeling a bit empty. I fear I'll never see that one performed. All in all, as much as I love every song ever done by these guys, I did feel that the setlist was too 'Lateralus heavy'. Some other tracks off of Aenema would have been good. Going through track 10, 11, 12 and then 9 off of Lateralus was a hard transition for me to make. Another song after Triad and before Lateralus would have made the end of the show stronger. Maynard did keep his back to us almost the entire show. He did the same in Hartford last year, though he did turn to face the crowd a bit more than he did last night. I don't know him, so I can't say why he chose to do as he did. Neither will I try to speculate. I do know that I've seen plenty of shots of old shows from the early and mid 90's, and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see them when Maynard was more involved and approaching the front of the stage. I understand that TOOL is about forming your own thoughts and experiencing their music on your level while they are experiencing it on theirs, but I also believe the artists have a certain responsibility to their fans, and when Maynard turns away from us, it's felt by anyone in the crowd who is a true fan. Maynard, Adam, Danny, Justin - Thank you for another show, I'll definitely see you when you come my way again. Love your music! Spooky

This was this reviewer's 8th Tool show

Yes, TOOL fans really do suck don't they? Or do they? What they say about the band is true; they just keep getting better with every show you go to see. Tonight was no exception. The sound and feel was extremely raw on this particular evening. They seemed like they were in a mood to kick some serious ass. We got a treat too, or was it? These guys never play the same show twice in a row, it's almost like one of their trade marks yet tonight we got a carbon copy of Sunday nights show ... interesting. They took the stage a little before 9, the crowd was pretty juiced to see them and everyone went nuts when Justin dropped the opening riff's to Sober on us. Danny seemed on a mission from the get go and it was nice to see the Reverend take his time coming to the pulpit, we were all eagerly anticipating the arrival of the greatest front man of our Generation and he did not disappoint. The Grudge followed Sober, and I still couldn't believe the power and energy that was pouring off of these guys, you could sense a definite edge to the sound tonight. The bass was a little blown out but I'm guessing they were afraid Danny might drown it out; did I mention he seemed possessed this show? It didn't take them long to dial it in though and by Stinkfist (which was preceded by (-) ions they were firing on all cylinders. Maynard stuck it out there, standing on the podium, defiant, looking over the crowd, no suspicious minds lyrics this evening, (just like the show before) but the musician ship was awesome and the crowd ate it up. On my 3 hour ride down to the coliseum I thought we may get Eulogy tonight, whether we got it or not I didn't really care I just thought, you know, maybe ... Next was H ... interesting, it seemed unusual at the time but hey this song is so moving I'm not one to complain, I got my dose of 46&2 in Boston. Third night in a row is even tighter than the first two it seems and everyone's blown away by the solo towards the end. Awesome. Danny started messing around on the left side of his kit after that, I don't know if he was playing the new electronic drum set up he had shipped in a while back but I'm guessing that that was it. It was tough to hear because it was very subtle and everyone was anxious for them to continue on with the show, cheers erupted here and there making it difficult to make everything out. There isn't a moment that goes by during the show that one of the band members isn't trying to entertain us in some way ... it would probably be cool if we all just listened, these guys know you love them. It soon turns into Schism and the band rocks on, as much as this song has been over killed I can't stop clapping when they're done, it's like a compulsive reaction, they've brought it to a higher level once again. Parabol/a is next and I'm thankful to see this one in its entirety, what a masterpiece this is. Something's off though, the Reverend's not ditching his Elvis suit. Is it the cat calls from the crowd demanding he get naked that's making him shy? Who knows but there will be no Maynard light show for us this evening. We'll live because tonight TOOL is here to rock us, nothing fancy, just an old school ass kickin'. I can live with that. ....this body holding me.... Adam fires up Aeon Blue Apocalypse after that and the stage goes red for the Patient. Maynard has seemed a little bit more inanimate than usual this show, more so than he has the previous few nights but when he has been dancing he's been wild, it's sweet. They nail this one and the crowd gives them some love after the crescendo towards the end, what a song! So powerful. Maynard kicks in with "think for yourself, question authority" after things die down and I know right away we've been toyed with. Opiate. Opiate two shows in a row! Gimme some of what Maynard's on, please. This crafty devil, always finds a way to mix things up a bit. It's riveting to watch, I'm speechless and overjoyed. The intensity of this performance is incredible, Danny's swinging the sticks so hard tonight. When they finish, the crowd gives them the best cheer yet and it's time for intermission. We chill for a bit, get blinded by the lights and then 'boom' TOOL's back on stage and we're underway again. Disposition flows smoothly over the crowd, mellowing us out and providing a peaceful state of mind for everyone. It winds down and the crowd shows some love. Everything gets pretty quiet as Danny kicks of Reflection. For the second time seeing them the drumming is so hypnotizing that I don't even notice the Alex Grey tapestries unfurling above me. I feel silly when I finally look up and notice them, where the hell was I? Anyways, upon further inspection I noticed that one half of the setup, the left side, seems kind of like modern day sciences view of the human body where as the right side of the setup seems like a spiritual more ancient take on the human form replete with the colors of the Chakra and energy lines, I ponder the significance of this for a bit. ..... crucify the ego, before it's far too late ... sounds awfully personal this evening, and they brought the place down with the ending, the wailing riff that Adam plays for his solo here sounds so forlorn, it's extremely touching. Triad's up. Danny's unstoppable this evening. Unstoppable. We're crushed by a wall of sound. He's joined by John and Troy tonight and they all rip it up. This jam lasted just shy of 15 minutes and it was pure bliss the whole way. Danny threw a cute little roll in during the breakdown right before the end, glanced over at Maynard and smiled. He seemed pretty pleased in general. These guys can't play their whole catalog in one night so they had to end at some point. Lateralis, us, the printing got messed up when they were originally released and now I'm all confused. Maynard thanks us for our support and says we may see him again soon. He hopes we take something positive from the evening are feeling maybe just a little horny, if so we should curl up by the fire a little later and check out Caligula ... what a card. Lateralis rocks like no other. Is this song about the show? Kabir hasn't opened up the opinions section yet and for that I'm kind of thankful, I'd say it takes a minimum of a year of solid listening before you can even begin to understand this album. A perfect end to another moving performance. Maynards pose on his spinning pulpit at the end is striking, swayed back motionless with one arm slightly raised looking up spinning motionless, cool as anything I've ever seen at a show. Was that the finger he threw us at the end or was it his blessing? It was a read between the lines type gesture he held up to us but it made me think of a similar pose that Christ was often painted in. That and he made a sign with it, it wasn't the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost ... kind of more like an L...... Come agin boyzzz, please. BGJ

First of all the concert last night was great, the band was into it. I have been on a fantastic journey since friday the 16th in boston. At the last minute I bought one ticket for the fleetcenter, anyway the show floored me. I got home saturday morning and all I could think about was the show.I got tickets and went to providence, even though I had already bought a ticket for the slayer show that night I said fuck it I need more TOOL. Saturday turned into sunday and I found myself in manchester for another great TOOL show. I had a great weekend up til monday when I had to go to work all I could think about was the show.So I went to the new haven show on tuesday to get my mind blown one last time. These were the best concerts I have ever seen and I have been to many.I even seen TOOL in 93 at lollapalooza but that doesnt even compare to the band now. TOOL has changed my life. While I write this I am greatly saddened that I wont be able to make anymore shows on this leg of the tour. It will take a little bit to come down and face reality and get back to work and family.I recomend this tour to anyone who wants to see something fresh and new (AMAZING).THERE IS NO BETTER SHOW OUT THERE! I would just like to thank my wife and kids for understanding how much this meant to me and allowing me to go on this ride. Hope to see you in the fall. THANKS, TOOL

not to defend the mosh pit but... not everyone in the pit is frat boy assh..e, some us have followed tool since they hit the main stage at 93 Lollapalooza. it seemed the new haven crowd was fairly laim except for those of us on the floor. sometimes it is good to be released through the music to let your guard down and get a bit crazy. yes there were a bunch of male inflated egos and at times it was like an alpha male battled but parts were beautiful and parts were harmonious. the show was great and who knows why maynrad was "distant". people expecting to hear older songs are not realizing where tool is at and that they are interested in playing and refining their new songs. they played opiate and it was amazing. danny is always in the zone and it seems justin relly has a good time. being within twenty feet of the stage for the whole show allowed me to see as i never had before, adams fingers hitting each note and danny playing the drums in an almost spiritual way. the stage and visuals are amazing. thanks to tool for being around, if they weren't here the music scene would be a bunch of korn wanna bes and peal jam rip offs. looking forward to the next tour.

thank you tool and tomahawk. this was my 3rd time i saw tool during their summer 2002 US tour, and it was just as inspiring as the first. tomahawk was excellent as usual, they played all my favorites off their album, and thrillingly even 2 new songs (one of which they didnt play at boston or new jersey. my only complaint was that patton's vocals often drowned out the instruments, and although i enjoy patton's work immensely i found that disruptive to the integrity of the music. the musicianship was excellent of course, and the few changes they made to their album songs i thought made them better (i would love to hear a live tomahawk album). mike was as energetic and entertaining as ever. good show. tool's set was incredible. the setlist was the same as every other show with the exception of h and opiate. i was thrilled to hear h, since before the show i forced myself not to think "god i hope they play h" in fear of disapointment. opiate was awesome, it's obvious that they've been playing that song live for 10 years because they've tweaked it to perfection. this time around i let myself ignore the visuals (however creative and meaningful) and would often sit down or close my eyes and let the music create a landscape in my mind. just like the other shows, sober, grudge, stinkfist, schism, parabola, patient, disposition, reflection, triad, and lateralus were performed magnificently, and the extended (and all new) parts enhanced them beautifully. and maynard, the show did inspire and heal me. made me horny too of course. thank you tool, i'll see you next time around.

TOOL was amazing. I had seen them for the first time Saturday night in RI and was blown away. The show in New Haven (despite not having the initial shock value that my first experience had) was even better. Maynard appeared to be vocally on target more than he was in RI although he didn't seem to be into it as much as he was days earlier (he did not strip down; bare- chested and donning the black speedo). Danny was a blur as usual. Justin and Adam were phenomenal, lifting me with every note. The setlist was masterfully put together, jumping headlong into mayhem with sober and coming up to intermission with some much needed guidance ("Think for yourself...Question authority....Think for yourself.....Question Authority....In these trying political times it is essential that we remember this, as a community of artists and global community") and a hair-raising performance of Opiate. Intermission provided some down time to slow down a bit, sway back and forth slowly in the darkness, and watch the monitors, picking up on the syncronization between the music and the visuals. The Disposition, Reflection, Triad sequence (which I wish the crowd wouldn't break apart with cheers) was just as powerful as it was in RI. The banners, back drop and seven-pointed star that descended during Reflection completed the ultimate visual scene, setting the stage for an amazing finish. Maynard's "thanks for sharing this with us" added a personal level to the show that was not present in RI. His remarks about the experience "inspiring, healing in some way, or just making you horny" were also comforting. Lateralus was a perfect ending to the perfect show and left me floating for the rest of the night. All in all, I was able to engross myself in the music more because I knew what to expect as far as visuals and the setlist. The energy the band put out from the second the circle of flaming eyes appeared on the monitors was absolutely captivating, allthough much of the crowd did not recieve and embrace this energy as well as the RI audience. About halfway through the set I noticed that most of the crowd was sitting back down into their seats. The response of others had no effect on myself, as I shrugged it of and turned back to the music. I only wish that the music would touch fans in the same way it does my friend and I. We find it impossible to sit still while the band is on stage and simply allow the rythmn to flow through us and move us in any way that seems fit. I genuinely want everyone I know to have the same beautiful experience that seeing TOOL live brings to me. I recommend seeing TOOL live highly to anyone who has every held an interest in the band or anyone who enjoys music and is looking for "some kind of psychedelic experience" for all six senses. I want to thank Maynard, Danny, Adam, and Justin for creating hours of beautiful music and art that keep myself and so many other sane and hopeful in this frightening world. Keep doing what you're doing and I will hopefully see you again in a few months.

I saw Tool last night, and I have to say it was awesome, with the exception of a few things. Tomahawk came on first,, and I can plainly say that I can see why they've been booed off of the stage. I think the singer was the same guy in the band who opened for Tool their last tour. I couldn't tell the difference. They seemed too radio-ish for me. Nothing was written in convoluted time signatures like the almighty Tool have mastered doing. And whoever the fucking singer was, all he did was shriek and scream into the microphone. Probably drown out the terrible music. And he kept being a dick and making fun of the fans. Hey pal, if you don't like New Haven, don't fucking play here. Tool, next time around, PLEASE pick a good opening band. Anyway, on to Tool. They were, of course, amazing. They opened with Sober, which ruled. It was the first Tool song I ever heard on the radio, and you can bet that I was belting the chorus along with Maynard. Then came The Grudge, which was perfect. This song is God-like on CD, and was no different live. They played H., which is a great surprise, but me and my friends missed a lot of the song laughing at the faggot in front of us. He was closing his eyes and just sitting there completely still. How the hell can you NOT mosh to this stuff? To these fans who think Tool is a spiritual and deep band, shut the fuck up. They're played on the radio. They are a ROCK band. An amazing one, but it's all they are. Anyway, they played Schism after that, which was cool, since most of my friends at the show knew Tool by that song. After that. they played Parabola along with the video. I don't like the video that much. It seems like they try too hard to be "deep" or whatever. The same thing with all of their visuals. They showed a fucking STAR OF DAVID during one song. But still cool nonetheless. After The Patient, they played some song I'd never heard before. It seemed radio-ish, so me and my friends had a good time moshing, though. Anyway, the part I didn't like about the show came now. They just played some weird noise for like ten minutes. We came to hear music, not fucking feedback. Me and my friend used this time to get some pretzels and sodas. After the noise came the Disposition/Reflection/Triad, which disappointed me. What is with this mellow shit they call music? Reflection consists of ONE BASSLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Definitely would've preferred some older stuff like Eulogy or Prison Sex. Danny Carey did a monster drum solo into Triad, and he's really an awesome drummer. His doulbe bass skills are amazing. They finished with Lateralus and that was it. Overall, it was a very good show. My girlfriend thinks Maynard is hot for some reason and she was upset that he didn't strip down to his black speedos like he did at a lot of earlier shows. Sorry, Melissa. :( Anyway, I saw Ozzfest this summer, and this show was probably just as good. But I'd rather have substituted Drowning Pool for Tomahawk, because they would've been a better opener. THANK YOU TOOL!!!!!!! MAYNARD IS GOD!!!!

What an amazing, awe-inspiring experience. Compared to last years concert, this was like meeting my maker face to face. In my opinion Tool is not meant to be heard sitting in the nosebleeds. In order for me to really feel the music, I need the band fifteen feet from my face, and the hot, sweaty, pushing, loving, bumping insanity of hundreds of Tool fans. Although I am not going to try to say that Maynard was disdant or not into the crowd, but if he was, I wouldnt blame it on the moshing. Tool preaches freedom of expression, why then would they discourage their fans from doing what makes them happy. Yeah, I dont think pits are cool, but I stood two feet away from one all night and my experience was not diminished. The only let down of the concert was when it ended. The multi-dimensional colliage of emotion that spewed from the minds of the band, srayed my mind with psychotic rebirth and left me sad and lonely. I am here now, trying to figure out, wether my everyday existence deserves the time I give it. Should I just drop it all and give my existence back to my creator. I just want to live my life within the force of Merkabah. Thank you TOOL for the experience you have given me, and thanks alot for the inspirations you have been, thank you even more, for doing what you love and then selling it to me.

Nothing to mosh to and no excuse to assault any more concert-goers, they looked so lost. I say Tool last in Pheonix Arizona with Tricky and the show was awesome, the only thing i had to say about it is i wished they would have played sober, and what do you know, they start out with one of my all time favorites, just for me. I missed eulogy and the pushit, but the show was done to perfection for the third time having seen my favorite band. I wasn't terribly impressed with Tomahawk, but that's mainly because of how the relationship with the crowd was going. I do very much respect Mike Patton as a musician, but he didn't do well with the crowd at all. ( that happens when you claim to be able to kick everyone's ass in the stadium, right after you buy them pizza) As far as The "weak mellow shit" goes, Tool playes the intense music first they start you out with somthing to get you going, (sober, the grudge) and it winds you down, its all phsychological, enjoy the ride... "spiral out" I left feeling inspired and no matter how hard or fast the music was, it always shows you how versitle the band is, they're one of few that have the ability to do that, and you'll never see bands like drowning pool or slipknot come anywhere near it. and yes I was one of the "apes" in the mosh pit, sorry if i ruined anyone's show, i geus domebody forgot they were at a rock concert... (funny how the same people that call it "mellow shit" hate physical content... sounds like you've got your own issues to deal with buddy) anyways, good show, and a shoot out to all the other apes with me at the concert.... tool are so fucking unreal. holy fucking shit. i'm still in a complete state of awe. a complete state. everything was perfect. everything. every-fucking-thing. this is the first time i've seen tool but i can definitely say i will go every chance that occurs. ohhh fuck me. 9:10 or so tool went on. fuck me twice. *orgasm* fucking shit. three people told me they could not under any circumstances explain the visuals that tool have for their show, and for a person who picks apart every detail [me], i can say the same thing. it was so unreal. maynard james keenan is so under-estimated for his talent. he is AMAZING. no, tool are amazing. i love how tool take their band as a project, and as a piece of art, and create each song like they were making portraits for a gallery. they're so damn inspirational. a few people have told me that i would appreciate tool so much more when i'd seen them perform, and you bet your bottom dollar that i do. holy shit, holy shit. *rips hair out* someone also said if i heard lateralus material live that i might get into it more, and oh man... there was so much in the atmosphere. watching their films and seeing the art and having that blend with the music was sooo god damned bizarre. they are truly artists. the lights, the effects, the videos, the music, the passion, the art, the drive. oh my god. i am absolutely in awe. how unreal. seriously... for a band that i don't even regard as one of my favourites. shitshitshit. they should be. they are so underrated. they really are. i know a lot of people who aren't so familiar with them claim how "overrated" they are- but once you experience something like this... shit. i bet it's like christians seeing the damn light or hearing god speak to them. oh my god.... another thing that i also liked was the stage setup with maynard in the back as opposed to the traditional performance set up with the singer up front. i think with maynard in back it gave the fans a look of the BAND rather than a look of maynard. like if he was up front i bet more people would be paying attention to just him, but with him in the back it gives you a full look on the whole band... i doubt maynard would be as good without the rest of them. that's all i have to say. overall, it was fucking bliss.

First of all, let me start by saying i know there were true tool fans there, and some maybe not so much fans as much as people who might have heard a few tool songs on the radio and think there metal...Unfortunatley, i think i had one of the latter people with me last evening..I must apologize for his drunken berating of other concert goers. The above setlists were correct, and i loved it when they brought out opiate and three quarters of my sectin asked if it was a new song that they wrote for the next album....Tool fans huh? Anyhow, i was quite content in my section 12 seats soaking up all the energy coming from the band , definetly worth my forty bucks..Hopefully they will come back to connecticut, but if not, i think i can understand why...People need to get more into the show, let the energy rool off of you and back to them..Tool makes music for a reason, and they definetly feed off of us as fans to keep them going. All in all a great show, i was not dissapointed, and i am not going to complain about not hearing any certain song that they "should've" played. They dont have to play at all. Enjoy what they do, Thanx Tool, see you the next time you come back.

To the guy who didnt get the "melllow shit" and only went to mosh... I'll quote some of the "old tool" to sum you up...BAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! And as from that "radio-ish" song you mentioned, which happens to be Opiate, i'll go ahead and say you are "deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow." Why are you suprised to hear your own (anti)eulogy? Wake up...spiral out, and maybe enjoy music on the level of the artists making it rather than on the level you would appreciate drowning pool

I just want to say that the show was incredible as usual..The fans in CT suck!!! First off was the venue...it fucking blows...i urge anyone reading this to NEVER see a show in CT..everyone was being assholes outside and no one could figure out how to fucking get inside...once inside..there was a massive amounts of dickheads everywhere..i never seen anything like it..i went and took my seat and wait for the show after feeling really annoied about finding my way there..Tomahawk was already done their set so they were setting up the stage for TOOL...my seats were left stage on the second level so there were landings where the steps came up in which during the show 20 + assholes were standing there blocking the view for everyone in the lower part of my section including me and my friends...how stupid can you be!! nobody was into the show at all..if you are reading this and you had floor tickets...KILL YOURSELF..cause nobody fucking moved during TOOL except for the die-hard CT fans who were beating eachothers asses in the really really cool mosh pits that were all over the fucking place during DIS/REF...what monkeys..they should already know that the band HATES THAT SHIT!..after each song was over it was so quite that if you were close enough you could probably hear them talking to eachother...what the fuck is that about..show some respect..since all you fucks were too stupid to realize that TOOL wasnt even feelin the show at all...Maynard was fully dressed in his leather gear all show never revealing the spedo with the paint..that should have been your first indication that there was something wrong...justin and adam were facing danny for awhile rather than the crowd..maynard had his back to the crowd most of the time and he didnt say much like he did at every other show i have seen..some drunkin pig came and sat infront of us and almost fell over the side rail and busted her head..why would you come to a TOOL show like that?!?..then i realized that the entire section i was sitting in was full of people who just sat down tapping their feet and loungein. what the fuck show the band your into it and stand the fuck up!!..i stood up for the most part but not the whole time cause everytime i did i felt like the people behind me were gonna yell at me to sit down...what the hell..it came time for the closing song and still nobody was energetic at all up where i was..i got some pictures off from wherei was so i was happy about that at least..TOOL was done the show and i couldnt help but feel sorry for them cause every "FAN" they have in CT are helmets..I dont know what these people think they saw at this Coliseum saying shit like " they rocked" or "the show was awesome" or some shit like that cause the show was nothing like what i have seen before...TOOL was always more animated and enjoied the shows more at other venues i've seen them at ...even though I will never again even go to a show at the New Haven Coliseum or to CT to see a show for that matter..the people who were there that came out-of- state and have seen TOOL before somewheres else than CT know that the show all you people a raving about in CT was nothing even close to the experience somewheres else. I've seen TOOL in NY (2), PA (1), NJ (1), and this one in CT... this was the absolute worst....I am really angry about this so if you are reading this take this as a warning...avoid CT at all costs..go the extra couple miles to Boston or something..Sorry to TOOL who despite these antics, were amazing.

tool definetly puts on the best live performance of any band around. clearly, every die-hard tool fan such as myself would like to hear alot less off of lateralus. the fact that they played opiate blew my mind. h. was a huge wonderful surprise as well. the fact that they opened with sober left me astonished. but i cant say i really cared all that much that they played alot off of lateralus. as many off you know, they stop playing songs when they lose their meaning to tool. the songs in lateralus are very new, and therefore have the most meaning to the band members. as for connecticuts behavoir at the concert.... i will be frank, i live in connecticut and can honestly say that a solid 85% of the inhabitants are...well...dipshits. last year i didnt notice how many of these dipshits showed up to this concert. well, this time around it was quite clear to me. hell, i heard them giving away floor seats and i special sound check and the only thing the girl who won said was "o man, i won something, you made my day"...MADE YOUR DAY!!! GETTING A SPECIAL SOUNDCHEKC FROM TOOL WOULD MAKE MY LIFE!!! your could tell the connecticut natives when opiate played...just look for the people shrugging their shoulders, and saying. "whats this, i never heard this on the radio" same thing happened with h. while i am sitting their hoping they would play jerkoff, hush, or cold & ugly. the fact of the matter was that not enough people were there for the music. god damn those assholes in the pit making out with their girlfriends, while tool plays one of the last concerts they will probably play in connecticut for a long time. then after the concert some jackass on some stupid radio station says that he was "disapointed", the maynard wasnt "feeling" the crowd. who can blame him. look at all the time and effort tool puts into every show, and they have to play for a bunch of jackasses who were sitting for most of the show and were more into tomahawk that tool. send these jackasses to a linkin park concert, they dont deserve the experiece that is tool live. so to all out of towner who had the unfortunate experience of going to tool concert in the constitution state, i am sorry.

I’m a Connecticut native. This was the last show at the new haven coliseum (thank god) the place is a real shit hole. They’re knocking it down by the end of the year. (I think?) In my opinion the show was jaw dropping. The images around the stage and on the screen really went well with each song. I loved the sounds during the intermission that made my whole body shake. The best part (for me anyway) was the Disposition/Reflection/Triad – Lateralus sequence. Danny’s drumming is out of this world. I’ve been a tool fan for 10 years now and it was finally great to seem them live. And even though I live in Connecticut, not all people in Connecticut are jerks. I really want to thank TOOL for coming to Connecticut.

this being my first tool show, i have to say it was great--- though i do agree that maynard did seem a little off tonight if anything. i'm a connecticut native and i must say new haven coliseum sucks and i'm glad they're knocking it down. i spent half an hour in the WRONG freakin line before i finally decided to go and ASK the guy if i was in the right line. they should at least announce it. anyway, i was pissed and i knew we had already missed the opening band and didn't want to miss any tool. luckily, we did not. i had a great time, i can't believe they opened with sober and played h. & stinkfist! opiate also rocked tonight. what was unfortunate was the people i went with. it was obvious they were not into tool as much as i was and they sat down the whole time...as to not feel stupid being the only person in my row standing up and pissing off the people behind me, neither did i...though i was getting very into it in my seat. blah. the mosh pit really blowed...i was upset but hey what can you do? i was 23 seats up from it and it's not like i could've stopped it. i left the show feeling 100x better than i did when i entered. let's just say i had a shite day and tool made my day so much better. i'll definately go to the next tool show in nyc/ct/boston. thanks tool!

Ok. So This was my Last show of the tour unless the fall tour comes anywhere near the pennsylvania area. this is truely sad.. But the most terrible thing is that...... On the way out of the show I was leaning on the wall outside of the venue and came across an Aftershow backstage pass.. It was just stuck to the wall. So i freak. I put it on and re-enter the building.. I ask security what to do.. They turned me away. I ask another security person and they proceed to lead me to the 'pick-up' point.. Unfortunately i was a minute or two too late and they couldn't get me backstage, apparently.. This was the single most disappointing moment of my Tool years.. The worst thing is that i was only delayed while contemplating buying tickets for the next nights show in Syracuse.. That is something, i did not end up doing.. So anyway, it was terribly frustrating. Finally i walked to the tour bus area and asked the security guy there if there was anything he could do. He was very kind but also very sure that i was not allowed in through that entrance.. He said 'Don't worry.. Maynard is a stable guy in good health. He'll be back again..' This may or may not be true but the one in a million chance of randomly coming across a backstage pass to the band that has four-handedly (five if you count paul) brought awareness to what i've been missing, saved my mind from giving up, inspired me to be a better musician, and all that other gooey stuff... well let's just say, i'm not going to be counting on it.. I suppose meeting them in such an environment as backstage after a show, really wouldn't give me the gratification anyway.. They are mentors to me, not just some hot hard rocking stars.. Being treated as one of the herd would probably make me depressed in the long run.. well anyway.. See you...

i went to the tool show, but i wasnt really there. id seen them just last year in hartford, and from what i can tell, they were much more responsive to the crowd--a friendlier environment. so this show i decided to enhance with some acid... Tool+Drugs=enlightenment... or so i thought. i pushed my way into the crowd (floor tickets), but the closer i got to the stage, the worse i felt. the vibes from the audience were too negative, so i went towards the sound booth and sat down... for the entire show. i couldnt move without feeling pain. this is not my first time getting fucked up at concerts, and with tool i thought of it as a religious experience, a reconciliation of the senses into... One. didnt work. environment is the most important thing when tripping, and i was not in a safe environment. i found it ironic that they opened with sober. and then i couldnt move or listen or open my eyes without feeling shear pain in every nerve cell. i apologize to anyone around me on the floor because im sure i ruined their experience as much as i ruined it for myself. and from the sounds of things, tool will not wanna return to the CT crowds. all i know is im impressed with the set list, and when i heard the "think for yourself..." opening, i thought i would DIE, knowing they'd go into "Third Eye" and i was too zonked to enjoy it. but then they wet into opiate instead, which was too loud to comprehend, yet its one of my favorite songs... sensory overload! if anyone happened to bring recording devices into the show, id be interested in getting a copy, so email me. i missed an irreplacable moment in time and an *incrediable* set.. and all i sacrificed was my mind.....

only my second time seeing these gentlemen. thanx for the setlists, accurate historical records are important. this band performing is a religous experience, they are without a doubt one of the most creative and energetic bands that i have seen or heard in my 25 years of concert goin. it was otherworldly. my only other show was at hartford last year, which i remember being more intense, probably because it was my first show and i was on the floor. these guys are right up there with king crimson, roxy music, genesis, yes , rush and zep and floyd. ct is lame sometimes brothers and sisters but be careful of what you wish for, the new haven coliseum was probably the best place to see a large show in the state, yes it is a "shithole" sonically. but i will take it anyday over the moneygrubbing, security obsessed venues. the history in that concrete and steel hole make it a temple. where are you goin to see the band. in the new yuppie den at the casino. come on, these guys deserve better. it was good enough for the who, tull, queen, van halen, bowie and the dead. its all about the music. thank you tool. until we meet again........rainman

This was my first concert ever...and from that i think other bands I will eventully see have high standards to look up too. Let me start off with the show. My friend and I got there around 7:00. We took our seats and waited for Tomahawk to begin. Around 7:30 Tomahawk got on stage and started to play..Tomahawk is a great band and Mike Patton is a great singer but there sound quality was nothing compared to the almighty Tool. They played 5 or 6 songs then departed from stage...(Does anyone know there setlist?) Then there was a intermission while they set up all of Tool's equipment. When they revealed Danny's drum set it was amazing. He is such a good drummer. Well around 9:00 Tool took the stage and from the first few notes of Sober I knew it would be a great show. There sound quality was perfect but the bass could have been turned down a little bit. The visuals were mindblowing and Maynard seemed very quiet tonight..though he did speak a couple of times and thanked us for coming out to see them. The highlight of the show for me was Triad and Parabola, though all the songs blew my mind away..I would like to thank Danny, Adam, Justin, and Maynard for coming to Connecticut to make my dream come true...seeing u guys live made my day. I will gladly attend the next Tool concert that rolls my way..Those guys inspire me so much. Well guys be patient..they will be back soon. For now spirlal out...... Useful_xxx_Idiot

The show was absolutely incredible, loved the set list even though I would've liked to hear "Eulogy" but whatever. Everything locked in beautifully from lighting to awesome backdrops to the actual music itself. It was an amazing experience. ONE COMPLAINT , THOUGH! This has nothing to do with the band (Maynard, Adam, Justin, Danny...you guys were flawless) but with the people who got floor seats. I was totally disgusted with them. First of all, half the people down there weren't even there to see Tool. They were there simply because it was "the last concert at the Coliseum"(damn Yale frat boys). That irritated me. Second of all, most people down there were either moshing like total idiots or crowdsurfing. What was that, people?! How incredibly disrespectful. I applaud Maynard for flipping them off, they deserved it. I'm actually surprised he didn't mention anything about it during the actual show. So thank you Maynard, you did the right thing. If you're going to go to a concert, go for the music. Don't go to kick eachother in the head. That's not the point of concerts, and I hope it never becomes the point, either. People like that are totally rude and insulting to the band, and to the real fans themselves.

He has been a music legend since the 80s and just seeing him was an experience. And you suggest some conformist MTV pop rock lame talentless non artistic band like Drowning Pool to open for Tool? Not to mention that Mike Patton and Kevin Rutamanis (Is bass player for the Melvins which have opened for Tool more than any other band ever) have been good friends with Tool since they started. Wow! The show was absolutly amazing even with the crowd totaly weak. As I sang and got into the music, other people sat and drank beer while taking to their friends. Most of the selists above look right. No need to repost it. TOMAHALK'S NEGATIVES: Tomahalk...worthy of opening for tool? No. Tomahalk is a good band to listen to once and a while, but the first thing I noticed when they started the second song was that EVERY SONG SOUND THE SAME! With tool you can listen to a whole CD and every song has a different appeal...this was definately not the case with tomahalk. I also don't like Mikes screachy screams. TOOL'S NEGATIVES: Not to much to say here. Only one thing caught my attention: Maynard didn't put his voice to the extreme. He layed low, not putting all that much effort or enthuseasum in the songs. TOMAHALK'S POSATIVES: They were descent...thats all. Oh! They sucked...(that should be in NEGATIVES shouldn't it..? TOOL'S POSATIVES: Danny: He was excellent tonight! His solo was great! He started out with a different fill to start sober. He was deffinetly up to par! Adam: He got into Triad and the other songs more than others said at other shows, which I was happy about. Messed up once durring the interlude on schism, which made me happy: it was live - not CD! Justin: Powerful as ever. He was great durring reflection. Maynard: He was into opiate (one of the few songs he was) and the crowd enjoyed that oldy... OVERALL: SEE THE SHOW! NO BAND CAN OR WILL EVER TOP TOOL. CAN'T WAIT UNTILL THE NEXT CD AND TOUR... -Rob

You think tomahawk isn't worthy for opening for Tool? Tomahawk isn't full of some no name members.. Just Mike Patton alone is worthy for opening for Tool. I don't blame you though, your narrow minded taste in music isn't your fault. Well actually it is. Fuck you. Do you know who the Melvins are? Their bass player is in Tomahawk and the Melvins have opened for tool about 15 different tours. Mike Patton also has opened for Tool several tours with different bands.

Ok, first of all, Tool has played better shows, but dont take for granted you saw the best fucking band in our generation. Even their bad shows kick the shit out of most bands very best. To everyone that can do nothing but bitch about how "everyone else watched the show", Fuck yourself, you peice of shit, why don't you go kill yourself? People enjoy music in different ways, some get up, some mosh, and some just listen. I was one of the people just listening, so i could give a fuck about the majority of anyone else there. Originally im from Colorado, but I joined the military and seeing as though the last thing i did before selling my life away was see tool, i took the chance to try to capture what the shackles of conformity have kept away, i wasnt disapointed. However, its hilarious to me to read how many people claim to be "hardcore tool fans" that can do nothing but bitch about the show. dont take a great band like tool for granted, everyone in the band is a person like you and me, and for as hard as they work to make the music they do, i honestly don't believe they play any of it for people that leave the show pissed off. If you went to mosh, get it out of your system, if you went to listen, then absolutely, listen, but if you came so you could bitch and try to sell how hard of a fan you are by talking shit to everyone else at the show, dont go, i dont want you at MY fucking concert. take another sip of coke, fuck you buddy
