Subject: Tool on Nov.1, 1996



Cow opened up fot Tool, it was at Mesa Ampatheatre in Mesa, Arizona. Show 
started at 7:00 p.m.

All in all, it was cool. I really wanted to hear a couple of songs that 
they didn't play like Prison sex, Intolerance, Bottom, etc. They palyed 
mostly new stuff, which isn't to say better or worse. They played for 
about 1 hour 35 minutes. Really notable songs were: Third Eye, Stinkfist 
(I know it gets way too much airplay...cause now people who listen to 
Hootie are going oh, I heard that song on the radio, I like Tool now.), 
and a really, really, really, cool Swamp Song. The new Bassist Justin was 
introduced...they said he smelled because he was from England. I have a 
question for you. Last night Maynard said one of the memebers of the band 
now lives in Arizona, but no where near where they were playing last 
night...do you know which one, and if so, where they live in AZ..??
