Subject: Concert Review...Thursday, Nov. 21,  New York City

Hey Kabir...I just wanna say thank you for having the best website on the 
net!
I looked for you at this show but I couldnt spot you. There was a pretty 
big load of people there but anyway.

Here's my review of the Nov 21st Tool show in New York City, at The 
Roseland Ballroom..

"Psychotica" was the opening band and they went on promptly at 8:00 which 
was the starting time on the ticket..That surprised the hell out of me 
cause Ive been to Roseland before and Ive never seen the opening band go 
out on stage right on time. I missed their first song in the bathroom but 
I wish I had missed all their songs cause they suck! They were true noise 
makers and theyre sound men sucked too. "They looked like a circus 
sideshow of freaks" The lead singer had some damb spandex white suit on 
with flourecent orange hair he looked pretty dumb. They were cool and got 
off the stage after meager 25minute set.

There was about a 25min wait and then the lights went down, the 
projections screens started to play the AENEMA cover, and the crowd began 
to scream in anticipation. Shouts of MAAAYNAAARD! and TOOOOOOL! filled 
the room. Adam walked out first then Danny,Justin, and Maynard. Maynard 
was blue head to toe with glowing eyes. Justin was painted white i think 
and had red spotty legions all over him. Adam shirtless as usaul looked 
pretty normal aside from the art on his right hand, it looked as though 
his skin had been pulled off from his fingers to his wrist it was really 
cool lookin. I didnt see what Danny wore. They opened with "Stinkfist". 
The crowd was cool but they were killing eachother. I was only in the 
pit for 2 songs and I must have avoided death atleast 3 times. Oh and all 
you girls out there for your own good DONT CROWD SURF! I saw a girl up 
there crowd surfing and she got practically raped. All these testosterone 
driven assholes ripped some of her clothes off and groped her all 
over..A friend of mine got a karate kick to the face and had to seek 
help..Aside from that the show was great! TOOL are magicians they can 
reproduce their studio sound in the live performance which is a giant 
feat for most of the rock bands of today.

5.EULOGY(VERY COOL LIVE.MAYNARD EVEN REPRODUCED THE WEIRD INTRO THOUGH 
  SOME KIND OF HORN)
6.SOBER(BIG SING ALONG FROM THE CROUD. COOL DRUM SOLO INTRO)
7.PUSHIT(FANTASTIC LIVE..MAYNARD HAS A GODLY VOICE)
8.OPIATE(MAYNARD USED HIS "LAST SONG ON THE FIRST ALBUM" QUOTE. THIS HAD 
  TO BE MY FAVORITE SONG ALL NIGHT. I WISH THEY PLAYED SWEAT.)
9.AENEMA(THEY BROKE FOR A WHILE THEN MAYNARD SAID "OKAY WE'LL PLAY ONE 
  MORE" A GREAT SONG TO END WITH..)

ALL IN ALL A SPECTACULAR SHOW I CANT WAIT TO SEE THEM IN THE SPRING.
NOW I WILL HEAL..............
