A Review of the Fall 1996 Tour

Date: December 1

From: Neil S Subject: Concert Review December 1 at the Warehouse Yeah, me and a few of my friends were at both the recent Toronto dates of the TOOL tour. First I'll start with Physcotica. Wow did they ever suck. They were the biggest collection of silky boys I've ever seen take the stage. The lead singer, both nights made sure everyone in the crowd knew what big TOOL fans they were. If TOOL inspired the shit music they played, there must be another band going by the same name out there. Anyways, they sucked and simply made TOOL look even better. Now I've seen the reviews from the other shows and I don't want to write one like that. TOOL was simply amazing. I don't have the vocabulary to put into words the feelings that swept over me as they performed. These other clowns are writing in and whining how Maynard's voice was too high, or whatever. Well fuck buddy, if you didn't like the show, get the fuck out. TOOL has reached the pinacle where they can do whatever they want. They played a wide array of songs (including No Quater, by Led Zeppelin for any idiots out there) and not all of them had the crowd moshing. Who cares, they all had the crowd captivated. I wasn't there too mosh out the most, I was there to see the greatest band this century and that's what I accomplished. TOOL did everything right, there is nothing negative to say about their performance, anybody who does is just as big a clown as that Physcotica singer (nice fuckin' drawers pal). To remember the night we snuck a camera in and snapped a couple of keepers. Overall it was the best concert(s) I have been to, since seeing them at Lollapalooza. I don't think I can attend any other live performances anytime soon, unless of course its TOOL again. NEIL (no alias' required, I'm the real deal)
