Hey you! Read reviews already posted for your show to see if somebody already posted the setlist. Sorry if this setlist is wrong but I let the notes I wrote down after the show in my hotel room...because I had a massive hangover. Here's the setlist: The Grudge Stinkfist 46&2 (MJK: Good evening) Parabola (After this Maynard says he has a surprise for us) Schism (cool arpeggio thing in middle with MJK on guitar) Disposition Reflection Parabol/Parabola Video Triad (MJK: First time anyone has seen the new video...thank Adam) Aenima (MJK: Take this feeling speech...) Lateralus During the show the showed the Parabola video for the first time. It starts out in what is like the corporate boardroom of an alien planet. The three "men" start hovering above the boardroom table and then start puking up a black substance in the form of a circle on the table. Then, it switched to another scene of a small creature with a face that bobs in a out continuously...really nice effect. DJ Tricky makes a cameo and seems to be the companion of this small creature. There is a hovering ball that he touches and it starts to grow. Eventually, the ball goes out of control and smashes the small creature to death, after which Tricky screams what seems to be "Fuck" at the ball and then he dissects the small creature, whose insides are really detailed and amazing. Finally, and the best part, the flaming eye from the CD insert comes alive and and infects Tricky, slowly going from head to toe and ending up in his forehead, seemingly making him evolve into an all-seeing entity surrounded by many eyes. Afterwards, Maynard said that we were the first to see the video and told us we should thank Adam...everyone did. Absolutewly great show. MJK was wearing black shirt (long- sleeve) and black pants tucked into his black boots. Heas also had a blue stripe painted from his chin to the back of his head. Small venue...I was fifteen feet from the stage...good crowd...good new video...just...good. Thanks TOOL!

This was this reviewer's 2nd Tool show

4/10@SETLIST as follows: The Grudge (-)Ions Stinkfist (extended) Forty Six & 2 Parabola Schism Disposition Reflection (World premiere of Parabol/Parabola video) Triad Ænema Lateralus As you can see, they didn't play anything off Opiate or Undertow, which kind of disappointed me. (They had "Sober" on their setlist but didn't play it) The visuals on the screens were generally the same as last years tour. This being their first show in months, they had some technical problems here and there, along with a few mistakes (Though I must state that Danny C didn't miss a beat). But besides that, it was a great show. MJK was mumbling "thinkforyourselfthinkforyourselfthinkforyourselfthinkforyourself.............." before "Parabola".They made a Soul Circle at the end, and it was touching to see the four of them smiling and hugging each other.

This was this reviewer's 10th Tool show

Hey you! Read reviews already posted for your show to see if somebody already posted the setlist. I was fortunate that Tool shceduled their shows while I am in Tokyo I never thought I would see a Tool show in a small venue again. Akaska Blitz has roughly the same capacity as the Tabernacle in Atlanta (1700 to 1900 people). This time there were no problems with counterfeit tickets or two hour delays. The set list was aimilar to the past tour (as far as I can remember) with the exception of the debut of the new video. The new video looks great. The best thing about the show was the sound system. It was one of the best shows I've seen in that regard. The drum kit sounded especially good. Tell the guys in the band to keep up the good work Brian "your man in Tokyo"

Unfortunately, I was not able to travel around the world to see my favorite band. But, I did get to see them when they came to Houston (10/28/01). If you're interested - I posted some short audio/video clips from that show here: http://bradbman.home.texas.net/TOOL.htm Enjoy!!
