im gonna bitch all i want. Tool have sold right the fuck out and they dont care about their fans like they never did anyway. they clearly favour american audiences over everyone and favour european audiences over anyone else. so FUCK YOU AGAIN TOOL, they keep losing fans and if they're wondering why its cuz they dont care about them. that goes both ways too.

I know you're not supposed to do this but I just wanted to say that Master Reviewer is a DOUCHEBAG. To claim that Tool is losing fans is so absurd. They've only grown in popularity over the years. As a devout Tool fan, I feel that losing fans isn't such a bad thing if they're losing the fucked up meathead muttonheads who mosh to Disposition and Reflection - and for that matter, ANY TOOL SONG - and douchebags like the aforementionted idiot. Tooldom will be a much better place if you're not listening anymore. That's why you buy CD's, so you can listen to whatever you want. Go to a Tool show, soak it in, QUIT FUCKING COMPLAING, I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!

How can ANYONE possibly say that those Aussie setlsts were bad? They played songs that us so-called lucky American audiences haven't seen in years such as JIMMY, 4 DEGREES,H etc. There's just no pleasing some people. By the way, they're playing out a new CD, with NEW songs. Like others have said, if you don't like the setlists, don't go. That makes it easier for us REAL Tool fans to get tix. Twit.

This was an awesome show. Tool played the second concert here in Vienna a few hours ago. And you know what. This was the PERFECT extention to concert number 1 ! IT was simple AWESOME. Much more quitly...much more experimental. New Graphics....New Video...New Structer. And Maynard making everybody say thing for yourself question aut. don't repeat what other people are saying..... was great ! Tool has done it again, but in a totally different way. Am I the only one who heared more electronic distoriotion ? All in all this was part 2 of my tool concert and it was GREAT

it was f***ng amazing!!! actually, when i saw the set of the stage i thought it's gonna be the same show as the last year's. but i was disappointed in a positiv way when the show was over. it wasn't the same! it was cool. they cared about us! last time they played aenima, sober, prison sex, push it... but we didn't get opiate, jimmy, 4 degrees, triad, a bit of ions. now we got it! so i was satisfied. next time (i hope next year) we gonna get eulogy, h...

Very good show.. playlist seems pretty accurate.. although as far as I recall we did get Opiate last year.. but this year it was played differently .. not as angry as last year I feel sound quality was maybe really not as good but it was much louder .. and Maynard was painted blue (i think).. triad was really awesome.. as was the whole concert.. Was thrilled to see meshuggah, but guess what? There was this band Pablo playing insted of Meshuggah. They weren t bad, but hey, i came all the way from Ljubljana to Vienna also to see Meshuggah... Anyways, after pablo finished (they sound a lot like Alice in chains), we had to wait for quite some time to get tool. Danny came onto stage, when ligst were still on, so it wasnt some big suprise big BANG!!!, as i expected. He slowly got behind the kit, started playing around with his kit, than suddenly started playing Ticks & liches. The rest u can imagine what it was like :)

hey, i am really surprised that everyone is sooo enthustiastic about last night performance...in my opinion it was NOWHERE near last year's show, i can't say i am dissapointed, but hey, i expected more...maybe last eyar's show was total perfection? anyways, pablo were really , really bad, bands like that exsist in every garage in every town of every damn country in the world...and when i think that they replaced the mighty meshuggah?!?!? damn... tool started really great, ticks, and them the grudge were both phenomenal...things started going wrong during stinkfist, anyone could notice that maynard was not really into it last night..the sound was also not that geat, as well as light show..but screens were great again...in my opinion it all fell apart during reflection; maynard didn't sing like 80% of the song, he only did a little in the beginning and the last part (before we pine away)...you could see sumthin was wrong cause adam ran off the stage immidietly after the song, no riff was played...they returned with triad, which was the best song of the night, then opiate and lateralus...no positive feeling speech this time, and maynard also didn't join the rest of them at the beginning of lateralus around the drum kit...the 3 of them were there, he stayed aside...for the first time on this tour...the hug at the end was beautiful...i think it spoke for itself...the end of tool is near, i think they are gettin through this harder and harder and that maynard is distancing himself more and more...but hey, that'o only my view...mail me if anyone saw the show and thinks differently...

So, it was my first time and I got nothing to compare it with (thank Jesus!). I loved it, them, loved the setlist, visuals, music. And, yes, Triad sounded quite amazing. The one downside for me was hoping the moshy metalheads would figure out TOOL isn't that kind of a band, while being pushed and shoved all over the place (which was ok during most of Ticks or Grudge or Stinkfist etc.) during the likes of Jimmy, Reflection... But never mind that, the whole show was great, they seemed into it enough to me. After all, they've been on this tour for quite a while now. Wish could've lasted longer, though. Still definitely something to never forget. At least for us with a freshly popped cherry. Thank you, TooL

1. This is a venue for tool fans to read reactions and setlists to shows that they haven't attended. It is not a place to bitch. 2. Please don't recite tool lyrics. We all know them. 3. We all have ideal setlists but this is not the time or the place. Find a message board or a chat. 4. Fuck you "master reviewer". Everone who sees tool wants them to play certain songs but it's impossible for them to please everyone. Don't Bitch you asshole!!

Well, after reading all the other reviews and quite a couple of complaints I'd like to contribute my impression of the show. First of all I have to admit that I wasn't actually doing good, moreover, I was in some kind of a little down which, to my own horror, didn't allow me to sink into the situation completely. Hence, I didn't like this show as good as I liked the last one in Vienna, but to be honest, I think this wasn't only due to my inner state. At first, I was totally thrilled when Danny started playing ticks, but frankly, I was somewhat dissapointed by Maynard's vocals, which was maybe because of the special mic he used that produced a heavily distorted sound which didn't bear much resemblance to a human voice at all - to me it just didn't sound too interesting. Concerning the extended version of Stinkfist, I'd like to say that I'm not quite sure about it, allthough I found the point where they jumped back into the original song totally amazing. What I noticed was that some songs where splointed with mistakes - 4° sounded strange in a way, Parabola was REALLY messed up... Adam once dropped out of the rhytm too... Just like the last time, I didn't like the Parabola video - in my opinion this procedure of playing a clip plainly rips the show apart and threatens the contiguety of your impressioon... Anyway: what I totally loved was Maynards little speech, because he absolutely got me. Yes, I was one of the dumbfucks who participated in this play of bitter ironic, and - rest assured - it had a good, cleaining aenima effect upon me... I am, however, glad that I will see tool in Lisbon again - a chance for them to give a better performance and for me too feel better...

HY.My name is aleš.I am 15 and i respect tool s work. I think they do something new and that they realy work a lot to do this. i Saw that what i am saying is true when i saw and hear them live in Vienna. When i came to the place Pepsi club i go straight in hall . I saw big monster Soround sistem and some projector for movies like in cinema. They use it for backround for picture image of the song.Every song has their own video. My favourite was tick &leeches.IT made me STRONG.i was nervous when i was waiting for Tool. They made us waiting for them.Finaly Dany Came out and the croud get nuts .he started to play drum intro for TICK and leeches. After him all other memmbers came out.Maynard was standing before the big screen so we didn se him we se his shadow. His voice efect was AMAZING and it KICK ASS. First three songs were very wild and crowd was nuts.Grudge was LIKE we were soldier and stinkfist was LIke we were winers.they play it like machines. At parabol and opiate folk were jumping and disspostion reflection we were in heaven. It was beautiful. But final was when they played Lateralus.Maynard was showing a train in intro and it was amazing.ANd his speach when we were saying what was he said was EDUCATING.BE DARE TO BE DIFFERENT BE UNIK (Or unid )ANd when he said don t ever said what other people said PEOPLE SAID FUCK YOU.But all the time maynard was only a shadow on a screen. He made some strange moves at schism and 40(deegres) .Adam was all the time cool he didn t move he was 100% concentrate on his job.Setlist was great.all the songs were great and something special.maybe they could play aenema BUt it was cool.when it was over they made a perfect circle threw some water to crowd and we could saw maynard s eyes and his blue painted bosy.

well... in my opinion pablo was great. i really liked them. kind of a mixture between grunge/(stoner)rock. between pablo and tool they played really much from the melvins. seems like a substitute for not supporting in europe. the show was good. it was more a rock concert than last year. last year was unique... it was a tool-concert, not a rock concert. this year there were more people (which i didn't like really) and it was much louder. the show was shorter i suppose. but never the less it was an total overload. pure mindjam afterwards. the visuals... the music... GREAT! i still don't know whether i liked it more than last year. last year was more contemplative. last year was the best concert i've ever been to. and this year has been the best ordinary rock concert i've ever been to. (and i've seen fantômas and other gread bands like this) reflection was fantastic... the drummer from pablo joined danny. this perfect drumsound... the complete band made such an amazing "sound carpet"... the concert was great. i hope they'll come again soon. they seemed to have fun with the viennese audience. IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO A TOOL CONCERT: GO THERE AND SEE IT

hey! nothing more to say about tool. everyone should know. thanks for playing 4° and jimmy with that... well.. not conventional extro/fadeout... liked it very much (though time flew by immensely fast). a shortcoming was the sound at the beginning, i must admit. t&l was rather exhausting - but big compliments for even playing it! together with last year's gig this forms a harmonic work of art... and damn - i still didn't catch the drumstick thankx for the show, thanx for the audience - hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did... best wishes to that american student, who asked me for the way at praterstern, and whom i've (unbelievably) met again later when the gig was over - have a good time in vienna!
