How the band formed:
Guitarist Adam Jones and singer Keenan became friends after they moved
to LA in the '80's from the Midwest and East Coast respectively. Both
being musicians, they soon jammed together. Luckily, Keenan's
downstairs neighbour, Danny Carey, was an accomplished drummer who
agreed to sit in with them. Someone who knew both Jones and original
bassis D'amour introduced the 2, and soon D'amour completed the line
up of the soon to be named band, Tool.
