spring 2002 the lowdown and the followup
Couldn't make the show? On the wrong continent? At least you can find out how it was. Here's what fans from each tour stop had to say about this tour, Tool's second visit to the South Pacific and Europe in less than a year.

This tour also saw the introduction of the first substantial changes to the setlist since 2001's post-"Lateralus" tours, which were all crammed full of new material. These sets included a much more diverse range of songs.

The entire end of the tour was cancelled because of illness / fatigue involving Zakk Wylde, Ozzy's guitarist. Attempts to have Tool stay in Europe for the final non-Ozzfest date were unsuccessful. The band apologized to fans via their Official site, but there were still a lot of Eurofolk who missed their opportunity to see Tool live.
